Beavercraft LS1P1 Dual-Sided Leather Paddle Strop with P01 Polishing Compound

Introduction The Beavercraft LS1P1 Dual-Sided Leather Paddle Strop is a large stropping paddle. You can make sure the edges of your cutting tools become even sharper: from pocket knives to chisels and from kitchen knives to gouges. Thanks to its size this strop is also suitable for larger knives. The centre of the strop is made from European ash wood. It’s a hard type of wood with stunning markings. The leather strop surface is attached to this on both sides. The strop has both a smooth and a rough side so any kind of compound can be used. But how does stropping work? The strop is delivered ‘bare’, meaning no [](/en/ct/stropping-accessories.htm)stropping compound or diamond paste has been applied yet. The strop comes with a compound block, which you need to apply to the strop before getting started. Since the strop is deliverd ‘bare’, you can choose the compound you prefer. For this smooth strop we recommend using diamond pastes and sprays. This smooth strop is also great for CBN and PDP. Some people like to roughen up the leather a little before stropping. To do so, you can a steel brush (but be careful!). Damage or wear resulting from this process is not covered by warranty. Please note: this product is made of wood and leather. Both materials are natural products. The colours of both wood and leather may differ from the product in the picture.
