1m (3.28ft) IBM 81Y8295 Compatible SFP to SFP ACC 10GBASE-CR 10Gbps Active Direct Attach Twinax Copper Cable IBM 81Y8295 compatible DAC is an active 10Gbps SFP to SFP direct attach cable for use in 10GBASE Ethernet network. SFP active DAC provides 10.31Gb/s throughput for 1m interconnection with high speed twin-axial copper cable. This DAC is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-CR and SFI standard. Its twin-axial copper cable’s wire gauge is 30AWG and pre-terminated with MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connectors. Standard length options cover from 1 meter to 10 meters. MSA memory map is accessible via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our active DACs are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to genuine IBM 81Y8295 direct attach cables.
