IBM BNT BN-CKM-QS-SR Compatible 40Gbps QSFP 40GBASE-SR4 850nm 400m MMF MTP/MPO-12 DDM/DOM Optical Transceiver Module IBM BNT BN-CKM-QS-SR compatible optical transceiver is a parallel 40Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP module for use in 40GBASE Ethernet network. QSFP ESR4 provides 41.2Gb/s throughput up to 400 meters over OM4 multi-mode fiber (MMF) using 850nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with QSFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 and XLPPI standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is MTP/MPO-12 connector. The full-duplex QSFP transceiver implements 4 independent 10.3125Gbps transmit and receive signal channels in each fiber for an aggregate 41.25Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring/Digital Optical Monitoring (DDM/DOM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to genuine IBM BNT BN-CKM-QS-SR transceivers.
