IBM BNT BN-CKM-SP-ER Compatible 10Gbps SFP 10GBASE-ER 1550nm 40km SMF Duplex LC DDM/DOM Optical Transceiver Module IBM BNT BN-CKM-SP-ER compatible optical transceiver is a dual fiber 10Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP module for use in 10GBASE Ethernet network. SFP ER provides 10.31Gb/s throughput up to 40km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1550nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER and SFI standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP transceiver features highly reliable EML transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 10.3125Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring/Digital Optical Monitoring (DDM/DOM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to genuine IBM BNT BN-CKM-SP-ER transceivers.
