Description Factory Ruger Mark Series Pistol Rebound Spring Mark 1, 2, 3, 4 IV & All 22/45 Ruger Rebound Spring (firing pin spring) fits ALL Mark Series Pistols ever made. (**The very first 1949 – 1952 production years could differ, best to observe closely on these**) Have seen these mangled before but I think the firing pin was installed improperly, somewhat common problem though. The SUPPORT for this spring has varied in thickness batch to batch and I would assume the springs vary some too. SO, if your support fits tight on this spring you will need to shape the support so the spring slides on decent. IF this is beyond your abilities find a gun smith.
