LED Headlight Conversion

LED headlight conversion for your stock headlights in your Mitsubishi Starion / Chyrsler Conquest. These are a direct fit and come as a kit for BOTH headlights. Everything you need for the install is provided in the kit. The LED lights are a snug fit into the factory housing but do fit, the factory hardware to hold the retaining ring in place is too short so new slightly longer hardware is provided. Before installing the headlight itself, install the Converter box first, the box needs a single ground and plugs directly into the factory harness, then your headlight plugs directly into the converter. You will need to mount the converter box. KIT INCLUDES: 2x LED Headlight 2x LED Converter boxes 8x Retaining Screws (Stainless steel) INSTALLATION TIPS: For ease of installation, I mounted the convertor box to the headlight bucket lid, I used the factory wire holding strap for the harness side and simply used a single ziptie to mount it to the spring. Im sure there are far more superior ways to mount this, but with the length of the wires and the pop up headlights moving up and down every time I did not want to create any issues with wires becoming disconnected or pinched. I grounded the wire to the lower body mounting point of the headlight motor. CLEAN THE GROUND AREA FIRST! A solid ground connection is required. You do not need to remove the header panel, simply remove the outer headlight plastic bezel with the 5 mounting screws and remove the 4 headlight retaining bezel screws. Once the headlight is out you have enough room to get your hands in there for your ground and converter mounting. As stated, the headlight are a snug fit they will NOT push all the way into the factory bucket like the factory headlight. Leave the protective film on them until you have them sat in place, just try to be sure its not pressed all the way in on one side and sticking out half an inch on the other side, press it in evenly and gently, DO NOT force it and crack the lense. Install your mounting bolts and snug them down they may not seat all the way flat, just be sure they are very snug.  OVER TIGHTENING could lead to a cracked lense, be mindful.
