Introduction The BeaverCraft Basic S07 Book wood carving set is a set of wood carving knives with each their own function. The C4M Whittling Knife has a large blade that removes a lot of material. The C2 Wood Carving Knife is great for the finish. Due to the sheepsfoot shape you can place your thumb on the spine of the blade to make sure you apply enough pressure. The C3 Small Sloyd Knife is, because of its convex edge perfect for the fine finish on the inside of your creation. You use the C12 Skew Knife to mark cuts, cut geometric shapes, chip carving and even cutting out letters. This set also contains a strop and stropping compound to make sure the knives stay razor-sharp. ## BeaverCraft Book gift set The entire set is stored in a wooden storage box/gift box shaped like a book. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don’t store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape. ## Beavercraft S07 handle The handle is made from ash wood.
