MRA Renegade MKII Complete Upper 223 Wylde The MRA Renegade MK II is Canada’s straight-pull, bolt action, utility rifle. The Renegade MK II is well suited to a range of activities including hunting, varmint control, competitive and recreational shooting. Plus the Renegade is classed as non- restricted (FRN#198524), providing owners the freedom to use their rifles almost anywhere. The Renegade MK II is offered as both a complete rifle or as a Receiver Kit allowing owners to build their own non-restricted rifle from our proprietary parts kit and a wide range of compatible 3rd party parts. The heart of the Renegade MK II rifle is the innovative and unique straight-pull, spring-assisted, manually operated bolt carrier group that is quick and easy to operate, offering consistent performance and a proven track record of reliability. The charging handle is easily swappable to either the left or right hand side. The Renegade MK II is chambered in 223 Wylde and 300 BLK and offered in barrel lengths of 12.5″, 16.1″ and 19″. Our button cut, ARCOR Nitride hardened barrels are capable of 1 MOA accuracy with quality ammo and a proven round count of 30K rounds without a loss of accuracy, our barrels are proven to perform. The barrels are shrouded in our stylish and lightweight, MRA V1 M-LOK handguards with M-LOK along the length of the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions and having a QD socket on the left and right of the handguard and a short picatinny rail at the 12 o’clock position at the muzzle end. The Renegade MK II rifle fire control group and other features and furniture are common and can be replaced by a range of drop-in parts and accessories widely available on the Canadian market. The magazine well of the Renegade MK II has a pronounced 30 degree flare allowing for quick and easy insertion of magazines and the well is cut to receive most STANAG type magazines plus a proprietary magazine that is in development. The Receiver and Bottom Metal are CNC machined from solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminium and our handguards are CNC machined from extruded and laser inspected 6061-T6 aluminium. All aluminium parts are hardened by Type 3 Hardcoat anodizing and our bolt carriers, bolts, and barrels are all hardened with ARCOR Nitride making these parts extremely durable and resistant to corrosion.
