Introduction The Case EZ-hone sharpening system, 09398 is an easy and complete sharpening system. Each side is enhanced with a different grain size to make sure you will always have the right sharpening stone close for each knife. From sharpening a completely blunt knife to sharpening and maintaining that sharpness. The wooden ends function as a reference point for the right sharpening angle. By laying the knife flat on the slanted part of the wood, you always use a fixed 23 degree sharpening angle. This set also contains a 30 ml bottle of sharpening oil. The coarse side is a sharpening stone made from silicon carbide. This mineral quickly removes material to make sure you quickly end up with a straight edge without dents. The medium side is a Soft Arkansas natural sharpening stone with a grain size of approximately J600 grit. Perfect for sharpening a straight edge. The fine side is a Hard Arkansas natural sharpening stone with a grain size of approximately J1000 grit. With it your knife will be razor-sharp in no time. The ultra-fine side is a Black Arkansas natural sharpening stone with a grain size of approximately J3000 grit.
